Art Work Jewellery

Picture
Your child's art work can be scaled down and used for all kinds of jewellery. However children generally like to use all sorts of colours and tools for making their art. For our purposes we need solid black and white images so we have to limit them to what they can use. The lines need to be thick when scaled down to jewellery size.

Instructions
Give them a stack of A5 paper (15 x 21 cms)

Fat black marker (no other colour)

Let them draw for as long as they like, single figures work well (mum, dad, me etc) Scenes are ok as well. If they draw a group of people it may be possible to use part of the drawing. You could make suggestions e.g. Draw Grandma if a piece of jewellery is intended for her or draw Daddy for making a fathers day gift of a keyring.

Get the child to write his/her name on a piece of paper. this could be used in a piece of jewellery.

I may need to tweak the drawing slightly to make the process work correctly. Very close together floating lines can sometimes be tricky to work with. If I tweak your drawing I will send you a scanned copy and check you are happy to go ahead.
